The coin’s design features a mosaic panel created under the direction of the sculptor V. Tverdokhlebov, an Honored Figure of the Arts of Kazakhstan. The monumental artist Yu. Funkorineo also took part in the work on the panel.
This work is dedicated to the educator and enlightener Ybyrai Altynsarin. The original mosaic panel is housed in the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan in Almaty.
